Town of Ranong, staying a funky little place called the TV Bar, where you don't watch TV, you sit on them, and the loudest guesthouse ever, all for 100 baht, that's just over 1 pound. Easy day off, ATM, 7/11, internet cafe all within spitting distance. Money saved spent on a good food and beer, and an interesting town with Burmese and Chinese influence.
